About Allison
I’m your honest, straight-to-the-point type of therapist. I can hold space for us while encouraging you to keep moving forward.
Meet Allison Hayes, MS, LPC-IT
I've always been interested in understanding people—what shapes them, how they make sense of difficult experiences, and the ways they learn to get through life when it feels overwhelming. Over time, I came to appreciate how meaningful it can be to have a nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and understood. It is a privilege to walk alongside someone as they work through life’s messy challenges and discover what healing looks like for them.
I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced trauma, as well as those navigating anxiety, stress, and challenging emotions. I approach each client with curiosity and compassion, creating a space where they feel safe to explore their experiences, build on their strengths, and move toward meaningful change.
On a personal note…
I love hiking around state parks, learning how to play golf, traveling, and being with the people who matter most to me. I value slowing down, laughing as much as possible, and making time for the things that help me feel grounded. I believe those moments of balance are just as important as the work we do.
Education & Training
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Wisconsin–Stout.
I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
